The Zebra Club is a traditional safari lodge with a thatched clubhouse surrounded by luxury tents. Each safari tent sits on raised platforms with views overlooking the hills of Akagera National Park.

The serene Zebra Club is located within 100m of Akagera National Park’s border and a few minutes from the Mutumba Gate through which our guests have direct access to the park. We are approximately 2.5 hours from Kigali Airport and offer Kigali Airport/hotel pick-ups and drop-offs. The Zebra Club’s high elevation of 1800m means it is not affected by malaria mosquitoes or tsetse fly. We are a remote lodge in a stunning area, and it is strongly recommended to use 4x4 vehicles to access the Zebra Club.

Activities within Akagera National Park include game viewing, hiking, lake safaris, lake fishing, bird watching, and guided safari tours. As well as activities that are external to Akagera such as village visits, hiking, mountain biking, and more.

Accommodation and Facilities
Each lodge tent is equipped with a shower, toilet, a king-size bed, or three singles. Additional children's tents sleep a maximum of three, provided upon request. The maximum capacity of the Zebra Club lodge is thirty-five people. All accommodation is powered by solar power, and hot water is supplied by natural gas. Internet and broadband facilities are available.
The clubhouse provides food and beverage, a fully stocked bar, and leisure activities, including board games, a pool table/tennis table, drawing, and painting.
