My name is Ivania Gutierrez. I am the Executive Director of Connecting Community, a Non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status that creates spaces to connect individuals and families with other service providers in education, health, and the Social Determinants of Health. We have programs where we meet with the community monthly* :
1) Soccer clinics with information hosted in low economic resource neighborhoods
2) Inclusive movement class and information open to everybody, senior, physical and cognitive disabilities communities, caregivers, families with Special Health Care Needs
3)Interviews online with different service providers to increase the access to information.

Last year, we had a great experience with:
More than 30 on-site activities with the community reaching more than 700 participants (425 participants in our programs, 300+ in other community activities)
Bringing 25 service providers to education and health resources will increase the information about health and education services available to the community.
More than 4500 views in our interviews online. We have done +15 bilingual interviews. Please see some examples on our website
As you can see, we are working directly with communities with less access. We want to continue connecting families with services through inclusive spaces where the community feels connected, heard, and involved.
On May 3rd, we are hosting a big fundraising community event called “Z Camp Health Event” in Apex; more than 300 multicultural people are expected to attend. We want to invite the whole community to support us, including the communities that we serve. We invite you to sponsor this initiative, which will allow us to fulfill our mission This is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your business and share that you care about this initiative.Please watch video of a previous event here
