ZARA LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE PLATFORM TO ASSIST CUSTOMERS EXTEND
THE LIFE OF THEIR ZARA CLOTHING
LONDON, 3rd November - Zara's innovative integrated platform, "Zara Pre-Owned," will be live in the UK and be accessible via Zara stores, Zara.com, and its mobile app. Customers will be able to reduce waste and the consumption of new raw materials by using this platform to make more sustainable decisions about their old apparel. In keeping with Inditex and Zara's transition to a more sustainable business strategy, the Zara Pre-Owned platform will provide the following services:
Repair: Used Zara clothing from any season may be requested by customers. A comprehensive range of repair choices, from button and zipper replacement to seam repair, will be included in the services provided. The customer has the option to complete the transaction in-store at their preferred Zara or fully online.
Resale: Zara Pre-Owned will also provide people in the UK with the option to resell their Zara goods via a safe online marketplace. With Zara offering dependable technology and customer support, customers may purchase or resell any item of clothing from any collection.
Product categories will be used to arrange the resale area, and each item will have comprehensive information about it, along with up-to-date photos supplied by the vendor and original product details made by Zara.
Donation: Customers may request that their worn clothing be picked up from their homes for donation using the Zara Pre-Owned program. The Red Cross, an organization that gives things a new life by reusing or recycling them in support of the development of initiatives in local communities, will receive online contributions of clothing, just like donation bins that are now available in all Zara stores throughout the United Kingdom. People can use this service for garments of any brand.
