Welcome to ZalgoText. By downloading, accessing, or using the ZalgoText mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.
1. APP USAGE AND FUNCTIONALITY
ZalgoText is a utility application designed to generate stylized and varied text formats. All text generation and processing happen locally on your personal device.
2. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
ZalgoText offers optional in-app purchases (IAP) to enhance your experience. These purchases are processed securely through RevenueCat and Google Play Billing.
• Nature of Premium Purchases: Purchasing a premium upgrade (whether an auto-renewing subscription or a lifetime unlock) explicitly and solely removes advertisements from the App. Premium purchases do not add, alter, or enhance any of the text generation functionalities. Free users have the exact same functional access to all text generators as premium users.
• Auto-Renewing Subscriptions: If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, your Google Play account will be charged at the confirmation of the purchase and subsequently at the standard renewal interval unless canceled.
• Cancellations: You can cancel auto-renewing subscriptions at any time directly via your Google Play account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain your ad-free premium status until that billing cycle ends. We do not process cancellations or offer direct refunds.
3. ACCEPTABLE USE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ZalgoText provides tools for modifying text strictly for creative and entertainment purposes.
• Third-Party Platform Rules: You act entirely at your own risk and discretion when pasting or using text generated by ZalgoText on third-party platforms, social media, forums, or messaging apps (including but not limited to Discord).
• Limitation of Liability: You acknowledge that certain platforms have strict guidelines regarding spam, unicode abuse, or formatting manipulation. The developer of ZalgoText is not responsible or liable for any account bans, penalties, warnings, or suspensions you may incur on third-party platforms as a result of utilizing text generated by this App.
• Disclaimer of Warranties: The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
4. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
