ZalgoText ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the ZalgoText mobile application (the "App").
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Data Collection at the App Level:
ZalgoText is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect ZERO personal data at the app level. We do not require accounts, logins, or cloud storage. All text generation and manipulation happens locally on your device.
Third-Party Services:
While we do not collect personal data directly, the App integrates third-party services that may collect information to provide their features:
• Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements within the App.
• RevenueCat / Google Play Billing: Used strictly to process in-app purchases and manage premium status.
These third-party services have their own privacy policies addressing how they handle data.
2. GLOBAL COMPLIANCE AND USER RIGHTS
European Union & Spain (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Spain:
• Legal Basis for Processing: The processing of data by our advertising partners is based on our legitimate interest in funding the App, or your consent where required by law.

Brazil (LGPD)
Under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD), users in Brazil have specific rights regarding their personal data, mirroring those under the GDPR. We ensure full transparency around data used by our third-party ad networks. You have the right to:
• Confirm the existence of data processing.
• Access, correct, or request the deletion of your data collected by third parties.
• Revoke your consent for personalized advertising at any time via your device settings.
United States (CCPA & COPPA)
• Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (CCPA): California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. While ZalgoText does not directly sell any data, our use of Google AdMob for targeted advertising may classify as a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA. You can exercise your opt-out rights by using your device's privacy settings.
• Children's Privacy (COPPA): The App is strictly not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided data through our third-party partners, please contact us.
India (DPDP Act 2023)
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, we clearly state that data processed by third parties (such as Google AdMob) is collected solely for the purpose of delivering relevant advertisements to support the free operation of this App. RevenueCat processes data strictly to securely manage your in-app purchases. We ensure our data practices align with the core principles of transparency and purpose limitation.
Mexico (LFPDPPP)
Users in Mexico have the right to exercise their ARCO Rights:
• Access: Know what data is being collected by our third-party partners.
• Rectification: Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Cancellation: Request the deletion of data processed by third-party processors.
