Windows 8.2

Windows 8.2 is a Transformation Pack for Windows 8.1, which transforms Windows 8.1 from a tablet OS to a more desktop-like Operating System. It also removes all the bloatware in Windows 8.1 and only adds the classic Windows apps. Windows 8.2 brings back the Start Menu, with the option to open the Start Screen in the Start Menu, as well as many more beloved Windows 7 features removed from Windows 8. 

As of July 15, 2025, Windows 8.2 has been discontinued. It will no longer recieve updates, due to Microsoft no longer supporting Windows 8.1. Aswell as Microsoft not supporting Windows 8.1, apps are starting to drop support, as there are vulnerability risks with running an older operating system. If you'd like a debloated version of Windows 10/11, check out Atlas OS. Please do not run Windows 8.2 on your main hardware. Please use an older device or a virtual machine.
