As a Colorado native and working artist, my cultural background and connection to local Denver neighborhoods strongly shape the way I teach and create. I believe art is a powerful way for students to share their stories, explore identity, and connect with the world around them. Many of my lessons are inspired by community history, family experiences, and the idea that creativity is something everyone can access.

In my own practice, I work across screen printing, murals, and mixed media, which directly influences how I design hands-on, process-driven learning experiences. I bring my experience as a Denver artist into the classroom, showing students how art can exist beyond school and connect to real communities. My goal is to model what it means to be a working artist while supporting students in finding confidence in their own creative identities.
