Choosing a strong password

Some reminders about choosing your passwords:

1. Your password should have at least 8 characters with both number and letter.
2. Do not use your personal information to form your password, do not use the following:
   • age
   • phone number
   • date of birth
   • school name
   • address(es)
3. Do not make your password impossible to remember. Think of ways to help you remember it! You can use a phrase from your favourite song or saying, e.g. the first letter from the phrase 'Jack and Jill went up the hill' can become the password 'jajwuth'. And if you apply Rule 1 above in this password, it becomes even stronger: 'J&Jwuth1'.
4. Do not use the same password for all accounts online.
5. Do not share your password with others.
