Advanced Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Development (GRS)

Pleased to inform everyone that Daniela Martinez (PhD student, UC, Berkley) and myself will be chairing the next Gordon Research Seminar on 'Advanced Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Development (GRS)' to be held on Feb 12-13, 2022 in Lucca (Barga), Italy.

Gordon Research Seminars is held jointly with Gordon conference for young researchers to discuss and exchange ideas.

The event targets to bring together young researchers, postdoc and early career faculty pursing research on cement and concrete.

Thematic areas identified for this GRS are:

1) Missing links in cements for the future

2) Concrete solutions for developing economies

3) Beyond the gate: Circular economy, end-of-life, service life, and durability of concrete structures
