Using prediction models for scientific discovery.
Model summarization and feature importance ("XAI") , prediction of variance ceiling, extrapolation and transfer measurements, model comparisons.Exploration and statistical inference for large scale data,
in particular samples are large and complicated, includingNeuroscience imaging (fMRI, multi-electrode neuronal data).
Genomic signals such as DNA-sequencing coverage or DNA-methylation.
Other data that is hard to collect, such as manually collected social network data, cognitive test battery scores, etc.
