About me
I am Senior Scientist at Merck Research Laboratories. Before joining Merck, I was a postdoc in the Department of Mathematics at UC Irvine. I obtained my Ph.D. (2022) in Mathematics from UC Irvine, supervised by Professor Qing Nie. I did my undergraduate studies in Mathematics at Nanjing University.
Research interests
My research interests include machine intelligence, mathematical modeling, and their integration on biological data science. I work on incorporating artificial intelligence and biological data science to study the mechanisms and dynamics of cell-state transitions.
Biologically informed deep learning model to capture and decode spatio-temporal cellular dynamics
Multiscale modeling on the mechanisms underlying cell-state transitions
Analysis of single-cell multiomics data
