Seminars, Workshops, and Conferences

I am involved in organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences that promote research and academic collaboration, particularly in international trade and spatial and urban economics. At Hitotsubashi University, I am involved in a field-specific seminar series in international trade and urban economics. I also continue to participate in and contribute to several workshop and conference initiatives launched during my time at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

International Trade and Urban Economics Seminar at Hitotsubashi

Hitotsubashi University hosts field-specific seminar series, including one in international trade and urban economics. Researchers interested in presenting their work in the seminar are welcome to contact me.

SPACE Workshop Series

SPACE stands for Spatial and Political Analysis of the Contemporary Economy. The series was launched in 2024 in response to the growing body of research in spatial economics and the importance of political forces in shaping contemporary economies. It is supported by the Shanghai Institute for National Economy (SHINE).

The aim is to hold each of these workshops annually. Researchers interested in participating in future events are welcome to contact me.

Internatoinal Conference of China and Development Studies (ICCDS)

The ICCDS is organized annually at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in collaboration with SHINE. I helped organize the conference during my time at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and continue to contribute to the initiative.

The conference provides a broad international platform for scholarly exchange, featuring an open call for papers, keynote lectures by leading researchers, and parallel sessions across a range of fields, including spatial economics, international economics, political economy, development economics, public economics, environmental economics, labor economics, and macroeconomics.
