US Air Force F-15 Periodic Depot Maintenance Program
As an aerospace engineer, I served as a Liaison Engineer in Korean Air for the US Air Force F-15 Aircraft, stationed at Kadena Air Base.
The project spanned 42 years, starting in 1982, during which 632 F-15 fighters were safely repaired and delivered. The F-15 overhaul program is widely regarded as a model example of the ROK-US alliance.
I played a key role in the F-15 maintenance life cycle, overseeing critical engineering aspects across multiple systems: structure, pneumatic systems, engines, and ejection.
I was involved in the complete maintenance cycle, from the initial de-installation of avionics and weapons to conducting the Functional Check Flight (FCF) and final aircraft delivery.
