1. LSTM-Autoencoder based Aircraft QAR Sensor Anomaly Detection
Civil aircraft generate extensive time-series data from thousands of sensors throughout their operational lifespan. This data stream enables data-driven applications such as predictive maintenance, life cycle prediction, and proactive flight safety measures.
We developed an LSTM-Autoencoder AI model for anomaly detection based on operational data from B777 aircraft across diverse flight routes.
2. AI-based Structural Damage Detection on Aircraft Surface
Automated surface damage detection can improve maintanance procedures for commercial aircraft. I applied:
1) Image segmentation for corrosion detection
2) Crack feature detection for engine blade damage
