I'm interested in researching and teaching innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently, I'm an assistant professor at the Innovation, Policy, and Entrepreneurship (IPE) Thrust of HKUST (GZ).

RA recruitment:

I'm seeking several Research Assistants (RAs) to join the team. If you are well-organized, self-motivated, and meet some of the following criteria, do apply. Please send your resume and transcript to yunhou@ust.hk.

Qualifications (any of the following):

1) Expertise in machine learning or text mining.

2) Strong background in econometrics.

3) Proficiency in Python, R, or Stata.

4) Skills in web crawling and data cleaning.

5) Experienced in managing a WeChat public account.

6) Knowledge of patent/court system in the US, China, or EU.

7) Familiar with experimental methods (lab/field).

While candidates trained in economics/management/public policy with strong analytical skills are preferred, candidates from other fields (applied mathmatics, statistics, computer science, engineering) are more than welcome to apply. A research interest in innovation, science of science, and entrepreneurship would be a plus.
