Yuliya Kazakova
I am a Research Fellow at the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI) in The Hague, The Netherlands. I represent the Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) team in the Infra4NextGeneration project, funded by the European Commission. The project aims to develop research infrastructure to support evidence-based policymaking within the framework of the "NextGenerationEU" recovery and resilience plan.
I hold a PhD in Economics from the Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex (UK), a Master's degree in Labour Economics from the Higher School of Economics (Russia) and a Master's degree in Public Policy and Development from the Toulouse School of Economics (France).
My research interests lie in health economics and the evaluation of public policies, with a particular focus on childhood health, childhood deprivation, and maternal employment. I am also interested in data management and data use for evidence-based policies.
