Assistant Professor of Marketing

Smith School of Business, Queen's University

Hello and welcome!

I am an empirical researcher and use various methods of quant marketing  and economics to study consumers’ responses to incentives and rewards, in the settings ranging from loyalty programs to massively-multiplayer online video games. My special interest is habit-formation and addiction, particularly to video games. I am also interested in understanding how social interactions facilitate consumption, both in the digital realm and in the physical world.

Over the years, I have been teaching digital marketing to MBA students, graduate-level text mining, an introductory marketing course to undergraduate students and a doctoral seminar in empirical structural modeling.

I am very grateful for my training to the University of Rochester, Simon School of Business, where I received my Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing).
