Musicals

I love watching musicals and singing theater songs (only in the car and shower)

Watched Broadway productions: Les Miserables, Chicago, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Aladdin, Kinky Boots, Frozen, Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (play), Waitress, Six the Musical, Moulin Rouge!, Some Like It Hot, Funny Girl, Parade, Back to the Future, Sweeny Todd, Water for the Elephants, Shucked, Suffs the Musical, Maybe Happy Ending, The Play That Goes Wrong (play), Heathers (off-bway), etc....

Stanford Taiko

I played Taiko (Japanese drums) for 6 years during middle and high school in Japan, and now I’m playing again with Stanford Taiko!

Stanford students: auditions are next fall! Come audition—no prior experience required or expected (I’m the rare case). For everyone else, we’ll have open workshops in the fall and winter—anyone can try Taiko! Details will be posted closer to the dates so stay tuned!

TEDx

Amy Cuddy's "Your body language may shape who you are" was a life-changing talk for me. Since I watched her talk for the first time, I got into TED talks, and eventually I decided to be on the TEDx board for 2.5 yrs to organize TEDxMiddlebury. I invited Lida Winfield, who was my dance professor, and here is her talk (She danced throughout her talk!!! I guarantee this is an amazing talk, so please take a look at it!)

THE BEST & AFFORDABLE & LARGEST-PORTION Mango Shaved Ice in Taiwan, as far as I know. I shared this one with 2 other people and It's about $3. I know. it's INSANE.
