I am a political economist studying inequality, redistribution, and democratic representation. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Sciences Po's Centre for Research on Social Inequalities.
Before joining Sciences Po, I was a a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University and received my Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University in January 2026.
My dissertation examines how individuals form demand over redistribution in highly unequal democracies, and how these demands map onto electoral behaviors in the context of Brazil.
In addition to my work on redistribution, I extend my research agenda to the political and economic consequences of identity-based inequalities in the United States.
I am advised by Matías Iaryczower, Carles Boix, Guadalupe Tuñón, and Thomas Fujiwara.
Before joining Princeton, I obtained an M.A. in Analytical Political Economy from Duke University and a B.A. in Economics from Minzu University of China.
