At Georgia Tech
Quan Zeng is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in the H. Milton School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Quan received her B.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2010 from University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing, China, and M.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering in 2013 from RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany. She worked as a project management specialist for several years in China for a global metal mining company, planning, organizing, and managing the completion of research projects, collecting, processing, analyzing R&D investment data, and supporting company’s decision-making process. Her research interests include data analytics, machine learning, and statistics. She is currently working on deep learning-based crack prediction in battery materials.
Ahmadreza Chokhachian is pursuing his Ph.D. in the H. Milton School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Ahmadreza received a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2020. His thesis was the feasibility study of a novel usage of recommendation engines for social media. It turned into a start-up project, and Canadian designated organizations acclaimed it. He has been a member of Iran’s national elites foundation since 2016. His areas of interest are data analytics, mathematical modeling, quality control, and statistics. Ahmadreza is currently working on data science applications in wind energy systems.
At Texas A&M
Adaiyibo Kio is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University. Adaiyibo received the B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2004, a M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Imperial College London in 2009, United Kingdom, and a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station in 2017. He worked as an engineer for several years in Africa and Europe, for multinational oil companies, acquiring, processing and interpreting petrophysical data, helping clients plan these activities and managing operations.
