Bridge the gap between Eastern contemplative wisdom and Western psychological science
Khenmo Yan's approach is rooted in a unique "East-meets-West" philosophy. She integrates extensive training in classical philosophy with contemporary research in mental health to provide practical, evidence-based tools for modern life. By translating complex ancient concepts into accessible, secular frameworks, she helps professionals from all backgrounds optimize their focus, emotional intelligence, and mental clarity
Yan’s meditation teaching spans corporate mindfulness sessions, silent retreats, and performance coaching for athletes. From Google to international retreat settings, she brings contemplative practice into practical, modern contexts that support resilience and inner balance.
Through workshops for companies and sports communities, Yan helps people develop calm, focus, and stronger interpersonal understanding. She creates practical experiences that support performance, well-being, and sustainable personal growth.
Yan has lectured internationally at institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and spent 15 years teaching philosophy and tantra at Larung Gar Buddhist Academy. Her lectures focus on mindfulness, well-being, and the meeting point of contemplative wisdom and modern science. Both English and Chinese were used.
