We charge by the hanging weight. Each beef usually weighs around 800 pounds hanging weight. You will have the option of buying a quarter, a half, or a whole share. A quarter will roughly be around 200 pounds (+/-), and a half would be 400 pounds (+/-). I deliver the beef to the Milo Locker. After the beef is delivered, the locker will dry age the beef for two weeks. Dry aging allows for the tenderizing and flavor of the beef to set. The locker will then call you for your cut out information (directions you give them on how to process your beef). Following the dry aging, the locker will then process the beef to your specifications followed by freezing it. The locker will then call you to let you know your beef is ready for pickup.
The price is $4.65 per pound of hanging weight. We cover the butcher and processing fees. To reserve your share, there is a $200 deposit. We also offer a $50 discount for all referrals, just make sure that they mention your name when they are contacted by us.
