About Us

Welcome to our family farm! Nestled in the heart of Iowa, we pride ourselves on growing corn, soybeans, hay, and raising cattle from cow/calf to finish. Our farm is built on hard work, dedication, and a deep-rooted love for the land.

Our Story

After serving as a Marine Corps infantry machine gunner from 2001 to 2005, I transitioned to teaching, spending 12 years in education. My wife, Dana, also began her career in education. After the birth of our second child, Dana chose to become a homemaker, where she skillfully manages our household. In her spare time, she also works as a fitness coach. 

Following two years of teaching in Wyoming, we decided it was time to return home. In 2012, we rented some pasture land and bought our first 8 cow/calf pairs. Over the next decade, we worked tirelessly to build our farm into a sustainable operation that could support our family. In 2016, we sold our first beef share and have continued to grow our customer base, with many loyal customers who have been with us since the beginning. 

Our current focus is on creating a sustainable farm that our children can one day return to, ensuring the continuation of our family's farming legacy.
