• シンポジウム(Webinar)のテーマ：“YOU WANT PROOF. I’LL GIVE YOU PROOF.” – MATHEMATICAL, EDUCATIONAL, & CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES

  • The aim of this symposium is to examine the nature of proof and proving in mathematics classrooms. We want to understand how proof and proving are organized in ordinary mathematics classrooms. From an international perspective, we are interested in investigating and comparing teaching and learning practices in the classroom, in different contexts. What theoretical and methodological approaches can be used to better understand the diversity of proof and proving across cultures and languages? Is students’ critical thinking present in these classrooms and what does that mean? At the symposium we want to provide and discuss theoretical frameworks and empirical evidence on these complex situations from a range of perspectives, drawing on mathematical, didactical, educational, cultural, sociological and other perspectives. The participants have been chosen not only for their interest in this topic but also for the variety of approaches they take to it.

  • 本シンポジウムの目的は，数学授業における証明と証明活動の本質を検討することです．私たちは，国際的な視点から，異なる文脈における授業での学習指導の分析・比較に関心をもち， 通常の数学授業において証明と証明活動がどのように構成されているか理解することを目指しています． 文化や言語の壁を超え，証明と証明活動の多様性をより深く理解するために，どのような理論的・方法論的アプローチが利用できるでしょうか？数学の授業（教室）では，生徒の批判的思考が示されているでしょうか？また，それは何を意味するのでしょうか？本シンポジウムでは，数学，教授学，教育，文化，社会学などのさまざまな観点から，これらの複雑な状況に関する理論的枠組みと実証的証拠を提供し、議論したいと思います．講演者は，このトピックに関心を寄せているだけでなく，それらに対するアプローチの多様性も考慮して選ばれました．
