Geomorphology, Geoarchaeology and Geospatial Information Analysis – various fields of studies in physical geography, environmental geosciences and geospatial information science (GIS) are of my research interest. In particular, measurements and spatial analyses of land surface processes in areas from mountain watersheds to coasts are tackled to clarify the relationships between natural processes and human activities therein. 

地形学、地考古学、空間情報解析を中心に、自然地理学や地球環境科学、空間情報科学に関連して、山地流域から海岸域までの地球表層環境のモニタリングや空間解析により、その場における自然現象とヒトの活動との関係を鮮明化する研究に取り組んでいます。
