caregiving is a social determinant of health.

ongoing projects
my current projects explore national datasets to examine social health in the caregiving context, trajectories of care provision at individual and household levels, and the heterogeneities across illness contexts and socio-demographic backgrounds.
previous projects
my doctoral research examined how contextual factors (e.g., race, gender, and geography) influenced psychological well-being (e.g., depression, loneliness) and stress coping (e.g., benefit-finding) among family caregivers, especially in the context of cancer.
in addition, my research included community-based interventions on parenting and diabetes self-management in the U.S. and globally.
you can view all of my publications on my Google Scholar page.
I am grateful that my lived experience and my academic journey in public health have led me to find my passion in caregiving research and advocacy🥰
