In July we hosted an anatomy workshop and got to make skeleton models and hand x-rays! Everyone got to learn about the bones in their body, and we had fun memorizing some of the names. All the kids got to take home their models–which allowed them to visualize their own anatomy!

This June we went out in nature and everyone participated in a scavenger hunt! We learned about some plants and animals, and got to explore the Discovery Trail at the Plainsboro Preserve! At the end everyone got stickers for their amazing participation–some were even able to find everything on their scavenger hunts!

In April we were all about Astronomy and learned some fun facts about planets, stars, and constellations. Kids got to make their own models of the solar system, as well as edible constellations with marshmellows! Everyone learned about all of the planets in our solar system, as well as the differences between planets, stars, and moons.

This month we Marched into chemistry magic and taught kids the basic chemistry behind invisible ink and slime. Everyone got to make their own projects and took home their invisible ink messages/drawings and colorful slime! We learned about pH values as well as chemical reactions.
