Summer 2024 YPStem Plainsboro is hosting a fundraiser in connection with Team4tech, a nonprofit impact accelerator, to support the non-profit Ek Tara, located in Kolkata, India. Ek Tara’s goal is to educate, engage and empower girls from marginalized communities. The mission is to transform the lives of girls living in urban slum communities in the city of Kolkata by giving them access to high-quality learning resources. This coupled with academic and nonacademic interventions aimed at holistic development will enable them to make informed life choices. 100% of your donation will be matched by Team4Tech and Ek Tara and 100% of funds raised will support a grant for Ek Tara to purchase technology. In turn, Team4Tech will support Ek Tara with technology training and support from skilled volunteers to use the technology in Ek Tara's programming.
