Sagittarius A* is the dark heart of the milky way. The sun orbits Sgr a* every 226 million years, and is 26,670 lightyears away from Sgr a*. It is 31.6 times larger than the sun. It is 4.3 million times more massive. So that's why it's called a supermassive black hole.
