My name is Montez Cox Jr, and I am a 21-year-old mentor, speaker, and community leader with a passion for empowering the next generation. I created Your Intelligence Program (YIP) from my own life experiences—seeing firsthand the guidance, opportunities, and support that young people often need but don't always receive. There were lessons I had to learn on my own, challenges I had to navigate, and resources I wish I had access to earlier. Those experiences inspired me to build something bigger than myself: a family-centered organization dedicated to helping youth discover their potential and create successful futures.
At YIP, I believe mentorship goes beyond advice—it's about showing up, leading by example, and taking a holistic approach to development. Whether through one-on-one mentorship, employment opportunities, community activities, peer engagement, or personal growth experiences, my goal is to provide the kind of close support that helps young people thrive. I firmly believe our youth need more opportunities, stronger role models, and genuine connections with peers and mentors who have walked similar paths. Through public speaking, mentorship, and authentic relationship-building, I am committed to inspiring confidence, self-awareness, and purpose in every young person we serve.
