To ensure that the youth development ecosystems are fostered, UNDP Indonesia and Citi Foundation jointly developed an annual national dialogue and a complimenting policy brief that discusses the challenges and opportunities to further grow the ecosystem with all relevant stakeholders.
In 2022, the Youth Co:Lab Indonesia National Dialogue approaches its first hybrid format since its first edition. United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Citi Foundation as co-leads of the Youth Co:Lab initiative collaborated with Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of National Development Planning, Ministry of Youth and Sports, British Council Indonesia, the ASSIST Joint SDG Fund, UNFPA, and the Innovative Financing Lab to host the 2022 edition of the Youth Co:Lab National Dialogue in Indonesia.
This year, the National Dialogue approached issues on the national level from entrepreneurship, digital transformation, to the green economy. It was commonly agreed upon that youth development in Indonesia still faced some degree of inequality, but great progress is being made towards reducing that - as evident with the National Strategy on Youth Entrepreneurship that was launched during the event.Â
