At (YAH), we are dedicated to teaching with passion and respect.
We proudly offer free educational cooking classes for students and young adults under 30, embodying the belief that “if you give a person a fish, they eat for a day; but if you teach them to fish, they are set for life.” This motto is at the heart of everything we do, as we strive to empower anyone eager to learn the art of cooking while supporting our local farmers.
In each class, you'll work with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The food you prepare will either be yours to take home or donated to local food banks, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. For those who don’t meet the requirements for a free class, paid participation helps fund our organization’s efforts to uplift the community.
Our classes cover everything from basic skills to more advanced techniques, giving you a well-rounded knowledge of culinary arts. Join us, and together we’ll cook up a better future, one meal at a time.
