Terms and Conditions
Your Deal, Our Seal
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By booking an appointment or using any service provided by Your Deal, Our Seal, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
Your Deal, Our Seal provides mobile notary, remote online notarization (RON), loan signing, field inspection, I-9 verification, and other related services throughout the Greater Houston area and surrounding regions. All services are performed by a commissioned Texas Notary Public in accordance with Texas state law.
2. Appointments and Scheduling
All appointments must be scheduled in advance. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Your appointment is not confirmed until your deposit has been received. Same-day and emergency appointments are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
3. Deposit and Payment Policy
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment. The remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment before the notary departs. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking. Failure to pay the remaining balance at the time of service may result in documents being withheld until payment is received.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Your Deal, Our Seal reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, your deposit will be applied to your rescheduled appointment.
5. Client Responsibilities
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all documents are complete and ready for notarization before the appointment. Your Deal, Our Seal does not provide legal advice and cannot advise clients on what documents to sign or what the contents of their documents mean. Clients must present a valid, current, government-issued photo ID at the time of their appointment. If a valid ID cannot be presented, the notarization cannot be completed and the deposit will be forfeited.
6. Refusal of Service
Your Deal, Our Seal reserves the right to refuse notarization services if the notary has reasonable cause to believe that a client is being coerced, is not of sound mind, does not have a valid ID, or if the document appears to be fraudulent or unlawful. Refusal of service under these circumstances will not result in a refund of the deposit.
7. Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Remote Online Notarization sessions are conducted through a secure, state-approved platform. Clients must have a stable internet connection, a functioning camera and microphone, and a valid government-issued photo ID for identity verification. Your Deal, Our Seal is not responsible for technical difficulties on the client's end that result in an incomplete session. RON fees are non-refundable once the session has been initiated.
8. Travel Fees
Travel fees are calculated based on mileage from our base location. Travel fees are non-refundable once the notary has departed for your appointment, regardless of whether the notarization is completed. Travel fees will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
9. Confidentiality
Your Deal, Our Seal takes your privacy seriously. All personal information and documents shared during your appointment are kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your written consent, except as required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
Your Deal, Our Seal is not responsible for the outcome of any legal, financial, or real estate transaction in which notarized documents are used. Our responsibility is limited solely to the proper performance of notarial acts in accordance with Texas state law. We are not liable for errors in documents that were prepared by the client or a third party.
11. Errors and Omissions
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy during each signing, it is the client's responsibility to review all documents before and after the appointment. Any errors identified after the appointment must be reported within 48 hours. Your Deal, Our Seal will make reasonable efforts to correct any errors caused solely by the notary at no additional charge.
12. No Legal Advice
Your Deal, Our Seal is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing communicated during your appointment should be interpreted as legal counsel. Clients are encouraged to consult a licensed attorney for any legal questions related to their documents.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved in accordance with Texas state law.
14. Changes to These Terms
Your Deal, Our Seal reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the client's responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
