Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.
O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.” Behold, in your name, I ask the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to hear and act on our petitions if it is your will …
Let us pray to the Lord, who comes to strengthen our Love.
* That the Church may radiate as a beacon of God’s boundless love, joyfully proclaiming Christ as the Incarnate Love who conquers all darkness, we pray to the Lord.
* That all who struggle with doubt or suffering may encounter the tender love of the living Christ, who seeks and embraces the lost with infinite mercy, we pray to the Lord.
* That every family gathered around the Advent wreath may imitate the loving obedience of Mary and Joseph, joyfully welcoming God’s will with open hearts, we pray to the Lord.
* For Pope Leo’s Intention: That Christians in regions of war and conflict, especially in the Middle East, Ukraine, and Nigeria, may become living signs of God’s reconciling love and hopeful peace, we pray to the Lord.
*Let us pray for all the victims of the senseless hateful violence that occurred last week around the world. That the love of God will erase the hate of political violence.
* For those who have drifted from the faith or grown lukewarm: that the gentle light of Advent love may rekindle their hearts and draw them home to the embrace of God’s mercy, we pray to the Lord.
* For an increase of vibrant faith throughout the world: that many souls may joyfully receive the sacraments, that holy marriages and families may flourish in love, and that generous hearts may gladly answer the call to priesthood and consecrated life, we pray to the Lord.
Pray for an incease in good Holy Catholic Vocations.
* For the sick in body, mind, and spirit: that Christ’s healing love may fill them with hope and joy even in suffering, we pray to the Lord.
Pray for the sick in body, mind, and spirit.
* For our faithful departed: that all who died trusting in God’s love may now rejoice forever in the embrace of His eternal light, we pray to the Lord.
* For the souls in purgatory: that our prayers, offered in joyful love, may hasten their journey into the fullness of God’s loving presence.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
* For all the intentions offered at Masses today: that they may be welcomed with heavenly love and joy, we pray to the Lord.
* For all who have asked for our prayers and for every silent intention in our hearts: that the Lord, whose love knows no bounds, may envelop them in His peace and grace, we pray to the Lord.
