We are all aware of the iconic 2000s fashion trends. From the puffy hair to the skirts on top of leggings. Some of these trends are in fact making comeback outfits now include low rise jeans, bell bottom jeans and vibrant colours. All of today’s fashion is about being vintage and authentic to you, people like their fashion to have a back story and because of the price of some y2k pieces can be priced fairly high. A very old Nike jacket that can probably be found in your dad’s closet may be worth a lot of money, so get looking. Some of the trendiest people seem to thrift all their clothing therefore increasing these clothing pieces life span and is a lot more environmentally friendly than fast fashion. Thrifting is a great way in which you can find unique pieces that gravitate towards you, you may also find some cool and expensive stuff in thrift stores!! Some even find large brands such as Gucci, Lou Vuitton and many more within these stores. You can come out of a thrift store feeling like you are in the house of Gucci. The year 2000s brings back many memories such as the fashion in high school musical, the iconic outfits from the red carpets and many more ridiculous outfits. I think it is great to see many people put their own twist on y2k fashion. It’s the 2000s fashion but less….. ugly.
