On The Ballot: Critical Writing in Critical Times is a bold new project brought to you by Y-WDA. It will feature a series of critical writing pieces by politically engaged youth and/or new voters on any topic related to the current political climate in hopes of promoting bipartisanship, unity, and voter turnout. We will feature pieces of many lengths, genres, subjects, and writing styles from across the country. 

The goals of this project are principally to engage the youth vote; attempt to collectively navigate what our unsteady political system means for us and our futures; empower and spotlight youth voices, votes, and interest in politics and the upcoming election.
