Fr Robin Koning is a member of the Faber Jesuit Community in Melbourne and currently serves as Provincial Assistant for Vocations, which entails engagement in various young adult ministries.
Previously he taught systematic theology as part of the faculty of Jesuit Theological College and served as Socius to the Provincial of the Jesuits in Australia.
In the 1990s he worked in an Aboriginal parish in the Kimberley and has published a number of articles on inculturation based on his experience there and more generally on culture as a category in theology.
He offers spiritual direction and gives workshops on Ignatian prayer and the Rules for Discernment of Spirits.
Chris Gardner has been involved with Ignatian Spirituality for 35 years and was trained at an Arrupe Program in 2006-7 in WA in being a spiritual companion.
Chris can accompany people through the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius Loyola, Annotations 19 and Retreats in Daily Life, Annotations 18. He also accompanies people through their spiritual journey.
Chris draws upon the Guidance of the Holy Spirit and his training both as a Spiritual Companion and Social Worker. He also has a background in Catholic Religious Education in which he studied theology.
A graduate filmmaker turned journalist, who now runs his own social media marketing business in the northern suburbs of Perth.
This "Social Media Guy" has spent the last few years developing an interest in Ignatian Spirituality, particularly as a tool for discernment, and how it is beneficial for your mental wellbeing.
He hopes to promote the practice of Ignatian Spirituality among young adults in Westerrn Australia.
