GENERAL INFORMATION
WHAT IS A YOUNG COUNTY 4-H AMBASSADOR?
A member of a county-level leadership team consisting of 4-H'ers who are the image of the Young County 4-H program.
This is a leadership and public relations position. We are looking for older 4-Hers who are dedicated to showcasing and promoting our 4-H program to the public.
Ambassadors are excellent public speakers, are not afraid to talk to stakeholders and community members, and are dedicated to recruitment and public relations.
WHO CAN BE AN AMBASSADOR?
Young County 4-H'ers who are entering the 7th-12th grades
Must have been a member of 4-H for the previous year
Must have participated in at least one District contest or event within the previous year
Must be academically eligible
Must be in good standing as a 4-H member
WHAT DOES AN AMBASSADOR DO?
Attend county events (i.e., Achievement Banquet, Kick-Off Events, etc.)
Coordinate National 4-H Week events
Promote the Young County 4-H program
Maintain the 4-H Clover Connection Video Project
