You feel like you can’t keep yourself safe.
You have thoughts of harming yourself or others.
You use substances for escape.

You stopped eating or are overeating.

You notice you have increasingly risky behavior. (Driving fast, self harm, adrenaline seeking, etc.)
They talk about feeling worthless, hopeless or a burden.
They withdraw from activities, family, friends and maybe even you.
They talk as if they’re saying goodbye, or start giving away their possessions.
Unexplainable anger or mood swings.
They don’t sleep much or at all.
They may be using substances.
Drastic changes in appearance or hygiene.
They mention that life feels like it's pointless.
You notice evidence of self harm.
They stop following their daily routine.
