For more than forty years, this man was the leader of this country. He imprisoned people who spoke out against him. Many people tried to leave his country when he was the leader. He was never elected to office. Since he died, there have been numerous social, economic and political reforms, including the lifting of restrictions on commerce and travel for its citizens.
