Moon Story is a deeply personal artistic project that intertwines visual art and music to explore the themes of loneliness and the yearning for companionship. The genesis of this project lies in my own emotional journey, where moments of solitude and the desire for connection became a poignant source of inspiration. The heart of "Moon Story" comprises five meticulously crafted illustrations. Each piece is a visual representation of different facets of loneliness and the quest for company. Through these illustrations, I aim to convey the profound sense of isolation that often accompanies solitude, as well as the contrasting hope and yearning for companionship that persist within. To complement the visual narrative, I composed a music track using FL Studio. This composition serves as an auditory journey that channels the emotions and feelings depicted in the illustrations. Enjoy my music and art.Â
is an evocative piece inspired by the intense feelings of anxiety and worry that arise from the fear of past mistakes and the anticipation of future ones. This artwork is set in the deep, dark woods, creating an atmosphere of unease and tension. In the shadowy depths of these woods, there is an ominous presence with glowing eyes that seem to follow and watch your every move.Â
The feeling of being watched, especially by something unseen and sinister, is a powerful metaphor for the anxiety that many of us carry. This artwork captures that sensation—where the shadow with glowing eyes symbolises the persistent and unsettling thoughts that accompany the fear of making mistakes. The dark woods represent the mind in its most anxious state, a place where every sound and shadow can trigger worry and apprehension.Â
Creating "It Keeps Staring at Me" was an emotional endeavour, channelling my own experiences with anxiety. The shadowy figure with glowing eyes embodies the critical and often irrational voice that questions every action and decision. This piece aims to visually represent the internal struggle of dealing with these anxious thoughts, making the intangible fears visible and relatable.Â
is a bold and intense music composition created with the intention of facing fears head-on, drawing inspiration from the stylistic intensity reminiscent of John Wick. The title itself, "Copycat," reflects the realisation that many of the fears and shadows we perceive are mere echoes or imitations of our own anxieties, rather than tangible threats.Â
The music begins with a relentless rhythm and pulsating bassline that immediately sets a tense and dramatic tone. By naming the composition "Copycat," I aim to acknowledge that the fears and shadows depicted are manifestations of internal struggles rather than external realities. Through this music, I seek to empower myself and others to confront and overcome these fears, recognising them for what they are—echoes of our own minds.Â
Capturing the essence of a serene and fictional cityscape, inspired by a photograph sent by a friend from the Netherlands, whose hometown remains a charming mystery. The artwork emanates a relaxed vibe, inviting viewers into a tranquil urban setting that beckons exploration and dreams of future travel. Through this piece, I aim to convey the allure of discovering new places and the peaceful anticipation of experiencing unfamiliar yet welcoming locales. "Bell to Carolina" represents not only a visual escape but also a testament to the beauty found in the unknown, resonating with my aspiration to one day visit and immerse myself in such enchanting cities.Â
"Bell to Carolina" is a cheerful music composition inspired by a photograph of a friend's hometown in the Netherlands, evoking a sense of serene exploration and anticipation. The music mirrors the tranquil and inviting atmosphere depicted in the artwork of the same name, with bright melodies, upbeat rhythms, and playful instrumentation like piano and synths. The title itself prompts introspection about future travels, capturing the essence of curiosity and the joy of discovering new destinations.
