Great first weekend for the Dukes! Finished with 6 total finalists, 2 champs, & 10 total medalists.

JV squad had a solid day as well with a combined record 19-9!

Clay Center Invite Runner-Ups

Boys finished with 12 total medalists and 9 of those being finalists. Finished 8 points behind a tough Hoxie KS team. Great day for this team!

Trip to Kanas results in runner-up finish for Dukes at Clay CenterIn their second consecutive pre-holiday visit to Clay Center, Kansas, York finished runner-up to Hoxie HS who scored 216.5 points and the Dukes’ were just eight points back at 208.5.

Week 3

Boone Central & Fillmore Central Triangular | Jim McGrath Invite @ Ralston | Kearney Catholic Duals- JV

Pick up 2 more dual wins to improved to 4-0 on the year before Christmas break

Jim McGrath Invite Champions

Back 2 back Jim McGrath Invite Champions. Finished with 12 medalists, 9 total finalist, & 4 Individual Champions. Team scored 215 points just edging out Elkhorn South with 201 points in the final round of the tournament. Great day for the Dukes!

JV Squad Competed tough against Varsity Competition at Kearney Catholic Duals.

JV team was open at 3 weights and battled hard all day against quality competition.

Week 4

Duke Duals Champions

From top to bottom the boys wrestled really tough and had a fantastic day. Finished the day with a 5-0 dual record with scoring 50 or more points in all the duals.

York Dual finals a Top 5 showdownThe York Dukes hosted seven other teams on Friday at YHS in the first annual Duke Duals. York defeated Waverly in the title dual 50-28 to take first place.

JV at Fillmore Central

JV wrapped up their day with 8 total medalists and team finished 6th out of 13 teams with 98.5 points. This group continues to compete hard at varsity tournaments! Great weekend for the Dukes!

Week 5

Dual Win Over LSE

Norm Manstedt Invite 3rd Place

Finished with 10 total wrestlers in the top 8, 8 medalists, & 4 individual champs.

Devin Nuttelman was voted Outstanding Wrestler for lower weights.

Keagyn Linden was award most falls in quickest amount of time.

York boys third in Manstedt team raceBehind individual titles from Devin Nuttelman, Emmitt Dirks, Brooks Loosvelt and Keagyn Linden, the York boys brought home a third-place team finish at the Norm Manstedt invite Saturday.

JV squad competed at the Waverly JV Invite. Finished with 7 champions and showed a lot of improvement from everyone!!

Week 6

Great team win against a tough Waverly team.

What a Weekend!

Varsity went 5-0 & Champions at Northwest Dual Tournament.

JV finished with 11 medalist & crowned Team Champions at Palmer Invite.

Big shoutout to James Samson for picking up a win against a Class C state qualifier!

Brooks Loosvelt was award the Blake Fruchtl Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament at NW Duals.

York boys win Northwest DualsThe York boys picked up five decisive victories Saturday in Grand Island, as the Dukes mowed through the Northwest Duals field to win the tournament with a dominant 5-0 showing.

York boys’ hot start fuels dual win over WaverlyThe York boys shot out of the gates Thursday night, winning five of the first six bouts to spark a 43-29 dual win over defending state champion Waverly.

Week 7

Final dual scores from triangular against Milford & Aurora.

The Dukes finish the regular season 18-0 in duals! Great accomplishment for this team!

York boys sweep host tri to cap unbeaten dual seasonThe York boys swept Thursday's home tri with Milford and Aurora as the Dukes capped the dual slate with an undefeated record.

Finished runner-ups at the John Higgins Invite in Lexington.

Finished with 8 medalists and 2 individual champions.

Brooks Loosvelt was voted the tournament Outstanding Wrestler for the 2nd week in a row!

Back 2 Back Conference Champions.

Dukes finished with 12 total medalists, 9 finalists, and 6 individual champions!

Complete team effort to bring home a state trophy for the first time since 2015 & 3rd state trophy in program history.

2025 District Champions

Team finished with 187 team points to take the B-3 District. Finished with 5 District Champions.

Dukes will be taking 8 total qualifiers to Omaha next week.

This is the 5th District Title in program history!

104.5 team points is the 2nd most points scored in program history!
