York girls wrestlers finish fourth at Fillmore Central inviteAngelina Schademann remained unbeaten and JoLee Gewecke logged a top-4 finish for Fillmore Central, while the York girls landed seven wrestlers in the top 5 at the Panthers' host invite.

Week 5

Boys & Girls- Norm Manstedt Invite

JV- Waverly JV Invite

Annah Perdue wins the Norm Manstedt Girls Invite.

Annah finished the tournament with 5 wins all by fall. 3 of her 5 wins were against ranked opponents and one of them being undefeated coming into the tournament.

Many people call this the "mini state tournament" for girls wrestling because there is only 1 class and at this tournament there are 44 different teams.

Annah also is the first female Duke to win this tournament in program history.

Norm Manstedt Champions

First time in program history winning the Norm Manstedt. Dukes finished with 3 champions and 11 total wrestlers in the top 8!

York grapplers take home Norm Manstedt invite crownYork qualified five wrestlers from the finals and got three champs as the Dukes held off Class A Columbus and Lincoln East for the Norm Manstedt invite team title Saturday.

Week 6

York Girls finished with 2 medalist at the Central Conference tournament.

Avery Albers finished with a bronze medal. Annah Perdue finished with a gold medal.

Annah became the 1st Girl Conference Champion in program history!

Boys Finished as Central Conference Champions. First time since 2016.

Dukes finished with a school record 7 individual Conference Champions and 10 total medalists.

Finished the final round with only 3 loses to clinch the Conference title. The boys did it in style with the old retro singlets for the home crowd!

JV Squad competed at a tough Raymond Central Invite.

Lot of teams brought some varsity to this tournament and was a great challenge for our group.

York Dukes Qualify for State Duals

Week 7

Dukes finish 5th place at the State Dual Tournament. Dukes dropped the first dual against a very tough Waverly team. Finished the day with 2 wins over Schuyler & Blair. Great day for this group!

JV squad finished their season last night at the Groundhog Invite. Dukes finished runner-up in team points with 10 placers!

This group finished the season strong. They showed lots of improvements from the beginning of the year.

Girls Sub-Districts

Annah Perdue & Avery Albers both advanced to the Sub-District Final to qualify for the District tournament next weekend in York! Great job girls!

Week 8

District Runner- Ups

Dukes finish as District Runner-Ups and set a new school record with 12 state qualifiers and most team points scored at Districts. Great job men!
