A special Thank You to the previous years' Boards and volunteers for helping to make Yorktown SEPTA a truly valuable resource for the YCSD community. Especially previous multi term president Jamie Collins and Jessica Bynes.
Another speical Thank you to Carmela Slansky who serves as Yorktown SEPTA's Advocacy & Resource Committee Chairperson. She has served many years in this role and we are thankful for all her knowledge and support for the YCSD Community.
WHO can join? ANYONE!
Does your child have an IEP, a 504 Plan, a SEIT, Anxiety, Dyslexia, ADHD, participate in AIS or ELA, receive RTI, or have general learning differences? Then you will find support and understanding in SEPTA. In fact, ANY PARENT, ANY STUDENT, ANY FACULTY can and will benefit from our association!
WHAT ARE WE? An organized group of parents on a mission to support our children and other parents in our community.
WHEN? NOW!! The time to join is NOW! With the school year starting, now is the time to get involved to have the most impact on your child’s upcoming school year.
WHERE? Right here in your own backyard! We are a community filled with parents looking to support their children in order for them to have the brightest and best outlook for their futures.
WHY? The best and most appropriate answer: WHY NOT?! You want the best for your child, and the way to accomplish this is to BE INVOLVED!
HOW? Sign up to join Yorktown SEPTA! One annual membership fee is all it takes. Come to meetings, give us your thoughts and opinions, send us emails... Your valuable input is NEEDED!
