About Me
Dr. Yongchun Li is an assistant professor in the School of Data Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen). From 2024-2025, Dr. Li worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received a PhD in Operations Research from Georgia Tech. Her research interests include optimization, machine learning (ML), and statistics, with the goal of advancing ML towards greater interpretability, efficiency, fairness, and robustness.
