I am a Project Assistant Professor / Research Associate in the Department of Global Agricultural Sciences at The University of Tokyo. My research examines how agricultural production and natural resource management shape local development and social stability, with a particular focus on civil conflict. I am particularly interested in how improvements in health, gender equality, and economic opportunities can help build more peaceful and resilient societies.
