Yoko Marikawa realized that Eldercare is not only an ethical social issue but also an economic issue, thus consequently decided to resolve Eldercare problems using economics. She pursued studies in economics including an Executive Master of Business Administration program at Fudan University, completing a master’s dissertation focusing on economic aspects of retirement communities in China in 2009, and created her original theory, the “Ageing Industry Three-Dimensional Chain Theory."

Yoko Marikawa is called “Elderly care Pioneer” “Trailblazer” by local and international media. As the youngest woman expert in Eldercare and Healthcare, Yoko has drawn huge attention to the cold Ageing Industry and Eldercare and led a great movement and investment into this ever been discriminated field.
