Planning my Assessment:
For this project, I wanted to plan certain elements even if they are not parts of the main project. So one of the areas I wanted to plan is the final reflection where we go over what we have done and reflect. Doing this is not only helpful for me doing the reflection but it will also help my analysis skills as I have used them for this.
Why:
I am planning my reflection in advance to help speed up the writing of the reflection and to ensure I have included all of the features a good reflection needs and ensured I am improving to my best. I also have aimed to improve my analysis skills which will help with planning in the future. The analysis will be a big part of this planning as I will look at past examples of people's reflections to improve mine.
What:
For this planning, I am going to look over past students' reflections and analyse their written evaluations. I am doing this to improve mine by looking over the subjects covered to make sure I am not missing anything from my final reflection. I will review each paragraph of their reflection writing a short description of what they covered in that paragraph and their total word count. I will take this information and make a plan of what I will cover in mine by first listing all of the things I will cover and then putting them in an order that makes sense.

Analysis:
To start my analysis I went over the first example from a previous year by Reece. I went on to his site and moved to the reflection tab here I read through his reflection taking notes on what he included. Here is the information he included in his reflection per paragraph.
First paragraph: In the first paragraph he goes over what was asked to do and how happy he is with it overall.
Second paragraph: Here in the second paragraph he goes over how he feels about his research saying how it went using an example.
Third paragraph: In the third paragraph, he talked about what he chose to do for his project.
Fourth paragraph: First in the fourth paragraph he went over improving his skills and if he achieved all of the work he wanted to. Next, he went and listed an example of a skill he learned in a tool to point out an improvement in his technical skillset. Next, he talks about the improvement in terms of skills using three examples of things he has learned for this project. Lastly, he talks about his development in soft and hard skills.
Fifth paragraph: In the fifth, he introduces the feedback he has gotten from his peers.
Sixth paragraph: Here he goes over what they said and why they said it then goes over how he acted on it.
Seventh paragraph: After getting some feedback he adds some examples of the student feedback.
Eighth paragraph: Here he goes over what he likes about the feedback what he agrees with and what he doesn't.
Ninth paragraph: In the ninth paragraph he goes over what troubles he had with the project including software and time management.
Tenth paragraph: For the tenth paragraph he talks about what could be improved for next time and what he would do differently if he were to do it again.
Eleventh paragraph: Here he goes over what is good about his project mainly focusing on his skills and improvements.
Twelfth paragraph: Here he goes over his personal aims and if he succeeded in them he used examples to prove he has and that he is happy with his progress on multiple fronts.
Thirteenth paragraph: Lastly he goes over the overall project and what he would have to do to complete his original idea.
He hit a total word count of 2056 and had thirteen paragraphs overall.
