Research Interests

The vision of my research is "controllable social space against hydro-meteorological disaster". I am exploring new technology to prevent hydro-meteorological disasters such as flood and drought. I would like to improve the skill to observe the current state of natural and social spaces, predict its future, and control social infrastructures based on the prediction. I also would like to investigate an appropriate social system which can install those technologies. Our research group in the University of Tokyo is pursuing "Numerical Social-space Prediction (NSP)" to contribute to resilient civilization.

The details of my research can be found in https://sites.google.com/view/yoheisawada/research-en (English) and https://sites.google.com/view/yoheisawada/research-jp (Japanese). The homepage of Sawada Group can be found at https://sites.google.com/view/sawadaresearchgroup/home
