Workshops & Retreats
In 2021 I'll be offering a variety of workshops and retreats to help you deepen your yoga practice. These include half day workshops, one day retreats, and weekend overnight retreats. In addition to traditional yoga focused retreats, I will offer a series of online birth preparation workshops to support women with pregnancy and childbirth (see below for details).

Childbirth, Yoga, and your body
#1: Understanding the 4 stages of labour and your body
The first in a series of workshops on childbirth, yoga, and understanding your body this workshop will focus on deepening your knowledge of the different stages of labour. This will support you in managing expectations about childbirth by giving you a better understanding of what is happening in your body during each stage. Drawing on pregnancy yoga teachings, we will explore tools and practical tips to help you manage your energy, mind and body during childbirth. You will learn yoga postures and breathing techniques to support you during the different stages of labour, you will also learn specific methods of managing your energy.
The workshop will be participatory and engaging, with discussion interspersed with theory and practical exercises. You will be provided with notes with detailed tips and techniques outlined to take away. You will also get a chance to meet and share with other women on the journey to motherhood.
This workshop runs for 2.5 hours with a short break in the middle. It will be run online.
